 Riddle's Room
For the room is rather extravagant for just being temporary quarters. A four poster is against the longest wall, draped in dark green emerald curtains. The quilt and pillows are the same varying shades of green, however the sheets are black silk.
A green matted rug is placed in the centre of the floor and the fireplace crackles against the other wall. On top of the fireplace are the pictures of her family.
There is one of Marcella and Harry Potter, waving, a photo taken just after their marriage. Both appear young. It was the only picture taken of them as a couple. Beside this one, is a picture of Nicholas Lestrange, stood alone leaning against one of the walls of Hogwarts. He was the half-brother of Marcella; the son of Voldemort/Bellatrix. They were rumored to have held an odd sort of affection for each other.
To the side of that one is a picture of a man, Bartholomew Riddle, her father. He had his arms wrapped around a woman, of middle age, Lillian.
In the far corner is a creaky, rotten looking desk, a chair that is just as worn is placed haphazardly next to it.
The teacher is sat on the bed, legs crossed, her expression somewhere between glum and furious. |
