Birdy wrapped her knuckles softly on the open door, leaning on the doorway and looking at the professor. As she waited to be aknowledged by the professor, she admired what she had done with the room. It was far from being the nicest place in the castle, but Professor Bree had done quite a job of making it less of a 'living quarters' and more of a home.
Finally, she came and sat in front of the professor. Beaming, she began to speak, "Hello, Professor," she started, picking absent mindedly at a red glob in her hair. Noticing her ugly habit, she pulled back her hand, "Nasty habit, did you know it took me three shampoos just to get the yellow stuff out." She laughed at the incident, though she had thought it far from funny the night before, "Just calling to check on you. I feel guilty that they," she said the last word with disgust, "Took out all the punishment on you. Still, we knew something like this was going to happen...Anything I can do for you while you're stuck here," she smiled at the Professor.
