Just when Diego was on the verge of tears and blinking, Hippie bowed. They really bowed! Diego's smile widened before he walked over to give them a good pet. "You're even softer than I imagined. That's a good thing!" Diego's fingers glided over the soft feathers. He could just about hug them now, but for now he would keep respectful on their boundaries. "I think I'll snag you some extra treats."
But before Diego could do that, the lesson was continuing with a question. "Erm... I think like us humans, when Hippogriffs get older they'll move slower. They'll want to be more careful and not harm themselves since bodies get worn down overtime. I think it just means we show even more respect for them, because not every Hippogriff gets to live a long life." Diego hoped that was correct.
