Diego was so happy to be back home. He missed his papa and daddy so much, especially when his birthday happened during the school year, a week before he could go home for the holidays. He was now twelve years old, yet he didn't feel a day over nine.
"Thanks, Papa!" Diego beamed up Papa Rafa. Take a break? No way! "Not until I get to put the star on though!" He insisted before he got himself a new scarf, the material tickled him into laughing. But, Vi's parents had it covered as he got home to see the most delicious-looking cake!
"Okay, Papa. But first, let me put the star on please." Making grabby hands before he went to climb up on Papa's shoulders.
"Absolutely adorable." Dash said, with the usual twinkle in his eyes as he could feel the tears threatening to pour. Everything was just so perfect, the three of them home together. Chuckling, "There's no rush, Diego. You have plenty of time before Papa and I steal your cake." Moving over to tickle Diego before helping him get onto Rafa's shoulders.
"Okay, hang on tight.. that's it. Now, don't let our baby fall, Rafie." Dash leaned to give Rafa a quick peck on his cheek before passing the star. "All set?" Dash asked, before realizing this was definitely a camera moment, which he just so happen to have by the table. Picking it up before getting ready to snap pictures.
