With the holiday break closing the Ministry, his various family otherwise occupied and no imperative tasks calling his name both at the job or at home, Simon found himself just a touch antsy. The auror-turned security man liked to keep busy, even reading for enjoyment, but the quiet was pulling his mind where he didn’t want to go. So, he opted instead to get out of the house. To go somewhere that was rarely ever totally quiet. And no, not the Leaky as that fit the bill but kept one hemmed in. Diagon Alley was good to get lost in.
Well as lost as one can get when one had spent so much time in in the summers of his youth…and the days of his auror career running patrols. Hands absently in pockets, Simon let his feet take them where they so choose, his pace kept slow to truly meander down the cobblestone street. A light dusting of snow here and there from an early morning brush of flurries.
