Default Transfiguration lesson: TBA

It's an unseasonably warm afternoon for early December. Outside the castle the sun is shining, and the weather isn't the only thing unusual about today. Upon entering the transfiguration classroom, it's apparent that the setup is completely different.

The usual rows of desks are gone, replaced with long tables. Several fish bowls sit along the tables, one for each student. Each bowl is filled with water and pebbles at the bottom; inside is a small fish. While the fish vary in shape and color, they are all approximately the same size. The fish swim around comfortably, with each bowl big enough to house 3-5 fish.

The only thing normal about the setup is Professor Carton standing in his usual place at the front of the classroom. ”Hello, welcome in!” he greets the students. ”Feel free to observe and interact with the fish, as long as you don't disturb them. Take your seats; we'll begin shortly.”

OOC: Welcome to Transfiguration! Please keep in mind that this is not the first IC lesson this term. Students would've had classes for about 3 months now. We'll start in ABOUT 24 HOURS. CLASS HAS STARTED!

Lesson Progression:
Q1: What are your fish's traits? Which traits would be most important to consider in transfiguration? Why?
