~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Jude also did not mind Keighley’s childishness! In fact, one could count on the two of them to get doubly childish when they’re together. Sadly, that couldn’t be the case for now, though perhaps later in the evening after she had been able to process her feelings things would change. “I understand. It’s okay and logical that you feel that way.” And Jude really did! He’d be torn to pieces if something upset Dav terribly and Dav didn’t want him around, even for a minute. He’d want to be there for the husband! “It’s get here, maybe not as fast as you like, but it will. Until then you get to hang out with me - and Dav when he gets back. I’d like to think that’s a silver lining.” He gave Keigh a teasing smile, hoping to make her smile at least a little.
Jude nodded and watched Keighley type her message. He may seem calm on the outside, but on the inside? On the inside, this big brother was crying because he hated that his baby sister was hurting. Like her, he couldn't wait for tomorrow when hopefully this all would be sorted out so she could be happy once more. He continued taking drinks out of his hot chocolate as he and Keigh lapsed into brief silence. |
