"Yes!" Elena yelled that perhaps a bit more enthusiastically than necessary. Oops. But she was excited that the other girl had understood her vision. She beamed at her. I mean I do like it but I wish I was in the same house as my brother."
The over-enthusiastic reaction just got a nod and
hmm from Addyson. It was nice to see someone so excited about their creation. She paused, listening to her as she visualised the different movements that the paintbrush- feet and toes would do. "
That sounds really... creative. What colours are you going to use?" she asked, trying to picture it more vividly. Would Elena paint the whole canvas one colour and then use another for the feet brushing?
She had never been told that it was
very nice to meet her. Lily hadn't said that about her. So maybe she had just been 'nice' to meet? What was the difference between a 'nice' to meet you and a 'very nice' to meet you? Now she was curious. And... she also wondered what her siblings would have thought about that- however, she supposed the girl was simply very kind and polite. Her grandfather had always and often reminded her that 'Manners maketh the witch or wizard' so maybe she had been raised in a similar manner. "
It's also very nice to meet you too, Elena," she offered with a grin.
Oh, so she had a brother? "
I have one too! A brother that is." She paused, wondering what Avalon would think if she didn't mention her. Eventually she was certain Elena and Avalon would bump into each other. They were both Gryffindors. "
And a sister too," she added. "
They are both in different houses too. What house is your brother in? And why do you wish you were in the same house?"
Addyson was enjoying her freedom.
