Elena was able to find the art room without too much trouble. She threw open the door and was immediately overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options available to her. Any creative endeavor a student could possibly want to pursue, they could with ease with the supplies in the room. Elena gravitated toward the painting supplies. It was what she was most used to. There were plenty of easels, but she had a different idea, that would require a couple of different painting supplies. Her first step was to start pushing aside a few of the tables and easles because she was going to need plenty of floor space.
Addyson had made quick work of the layout of the castle. Lower bellies of the castle were where her brother's dormitory and the Slytherin dormitory, the kitchens, and other various rooms. She'd have to ask her brother if his common room had windows... hopefully there was some form of light? The higher floors were where her dormitory and Avalon's was so- she wasn't too concerned about either common room having windows. Now, the first floor had a few interesting rooms that had caught Addyson's eye when she had been exploring earlier - particularly the art classroom. So now that homework had been completed (a rule set for herself that she was strict to adhering to), she was now able to visit the art classroom.
Twisting the doorknob, she pushed open the door and walked into the room. Her eyes widened. The brief glance gave her an overview of the photography area and smaller tables but as she scanned the room she noticed.... all the
BOOKS! and
supplies! There were pastels there! She always liked the way you could blend pastels together... Imagine painting the night sky where you could see the bright stars and some planets... all the deep purples, blues, greens, blacks, and indigos... But.. what if she mixed medias with like watercolour pencil or paint?
"
Wicked," Addyson muttered under her breath as she walked further into the room, noticing a fellow first year eying paints and a few easels. She remained quiet for a pause and was well... about to go about on her own project. However, she had remembered her siblings' (and parents) encouragement. She had to be 'friendly'... She had scoffed, quickly becoming offended at the accusation. Knowing what to say to a stranger was... challenging and
awkward... She did not do well at small talk.
"
What are you going to make?" she asked, tilting her head slightly to the left as she tried to imagine what the other girl was going to make. Paints, perhaps?
