~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. SPOILER!!: Bry! <3 Quote:

If anyone should know that, it was Ary. The poor boy had been dealing with all her antics for fifteen years now.
Normally Bryony could judge whenever he was about to do something fun. Today wasn't one of those days however. For one thing, it was almost never that Ary wanted to race against her.. let alone to the top of a tree! So consider her caught off guard for several seconds! "Heeeeey!" she giggled, taking off running after him across the grounds.
Unfortunately for her, she wasn't as tall as Ary and jumping to tree to reach that lowest branch wouldn't do any good at all for her. This she already knew. So that meant she had to stick to using the knots in the lower section of the trunk to get herself started. No problems there was she easily pulled herself up higher moving swiftly from knot to knot. Once she was able to get to the branches and different platforms, Bry would have no issues climbing even faster.
Ary she was gonna get you!
True, Bry had seemingly lived at the Climbing Tree since she started out at Hogwarts but that was okay because Ary would be frequenting it as well so maybe, just maybe, he’d be able to match her total number of visits. And yes! A million times yes, he did know how strong Bry was. No one should ever underestimate her because of her small stature.
The guy liked that he could still surprise Bry. He knew he didn’t have to because she’d still love him even if he happened to be the most boring person on the planet but still… surprising her made him happier. The word she uttered at having been caught off guard made him laugh and that was something he was still doing as he continued to climb.
Ary could hear Bry actively pursuing him so he didn’t give up with his determination to get to the last platform before she did. But dear Merlin! Why were his arms beginning to ache already? No, he really couldn’t afford to focus on that; it would only slow his game down.
And so the Slytherin boy persevered on, also ignoring the thin line of sweat beading his forehead. |
