Elena had her Hogwarts list tucked into her pocket, but it was mostly forgotten. She wanted to see everything there was to see. As they passed each shop she paused to stare in the windows. Some were more enticing than others. Her dads had practically had to drag her away from the Menagerie. There were books and candy and owls and brooms and quills and and... And whatever this was. Elena peered through the windows at the jars and barrels of miscellaneous items. She was very intrigued by it, and wanted to know exactly what the items were. She looped her arm through Alexei's, needing her twin with her for this adventure of course, and pulled him along with her through the door into the shop.
Once inside she paused, looking around at the rows of shelves and barrels stuffed with items. There were people inside milling around; most of them looked to be Hogwarts aged. Elena also noticed the cauldrons for sale, and the shelf full of potions, giving her an idea of what all of these items might be used for. This is what they would be using to make potions? She bent over, peering closely at one of the jars. It appeared to hold a strange mucus. Gross. And cool. "Do we really need all this stuff?" She asked Alexei. |
