The results were the bully’s face turning green and Id & Paul being placed in detention. Beatrice was not pleased about her son being placed in detention, so much so that she scolded Paul about it. Id was quick to defend Paul by letting Beatrice know the circumstances that led to said detention. Beatrice, after understanding what had transpired, apologised to Paul then went off to vent her dissatisfaction of the boys’ unfair treatment of having to serve detention to the Headmaster. Paul, in shock over Beatrice apologising to him, was invited to the Grunts’ residence for dinner since his mothers were working late.

- 2113 {turns 11 years} - Enrolled at Primary Wizarding School {Hogsmeade} for Year 6 Class; Graduated; Was invited to Paul’s house where he was introduced to the cute little bunny named Donut. For the first time, Id experienced a different side of Paul: his best friend cracked jokes and even laughed, something which Idris hoped Paul would do more of {summer}; Started out at Hogwarts. On the boat trip across the Lake, Id was confused to find that Paul was ignoring him. But in true Idris fashion, he continued chattering to his friend. After being Sorted into Gryffindor, he crossed his fingers with the hope that Paul would join him but that was not to be as he was placed in Slytherin. A gaping Id watched as Paul flung the Sorting Hat across the Great Hall while spewing words Id wasn’t aware Paul knew. However, this did not deter Id from tracking down his friend who had been sulking in a bathroom. Paul reacted to this by yelling at Id to go away and find someone better in Gryffindor to be his friend instead. Idris was quite undeterred by these words and instead sat there with him. Among the many things Id said, he made it clear that he thought Paul was being silly by acting in this manner and that he knew the Hufflepuff was a good person deep down. Paul apologised but mentioned that he doesn’t know how to stop being rude. Id tried to understand this as he relented to them going to the kitchens.
- 2114 {turns 12 years} - Strange happenings at Hogwarts with everything and everyone going all monochrome-y. This did not stop Id from being his usual positive self and having an enjoyable time at School; sometime just before the academic year ends, Id decides he wants a pet; Paul helps him pick Nesquik;
- 2115 {turns 13 years} - vacations for a bit at Paul’s; moves into the new and bigger home with his entire family {Summer};
- 2116 {turns 14 years} - Paul snaps at Idris, insulting his personality and saying words that led Id to believe he was suffocating Paul during all the years of their friendship. Idris did not react due to the numb feeling that took over, though when he walked away without saying a single word to Paul, he started to silently cry. He went back to his dorm where he crawled under his bed so that he could sob his heart out in peace. It was there that Nes found him and stayed by his side as comfort. The days that followed saw Jan, Ean and Dhruv constantly looking over Idris; even Nesquik refused to mingle with Paul but did on one occasion claw him out of spite. Id spent an increasing amount of time in Ean's office where he would silently do his homework, learn Japanese or cry {he would attribute the latter to being frustrated about being unable to learn the language as quickly as he would have like. It was more of him being reminded of Paul whenever he picked up the Japanese books}. His mood affected his academic life drastically with him being unable to conquer simple spells. He eventually opened up to Jan, Ean and Dhruv about what had transpired between him and Paul which led to Jan refusing to let Paul talk to him; Paul was attempting to make amends. Idris was grateful for the comfort {and the many cuddles} that Ean and Dhruv gave him, the help Jan provided through lessons and the constant presence and many healing purrs of Nesquik. Towards the end of the month, Id was finally ready to hear Paul out. Amidst a flurry of jumbled words, Paul kissed him before running off to the kitchen. Idris followed where the two had a conversation before kissing again and officially taking their friendship further. {January}; tries ardently to convince Jan to go on a date with Hermy, as Id easily sensed they had been crushing on his brother for a long time; vacationed in India with the family (Paul's included here, because he's family
) Had a great time exploring, dressing cats and himself in traditional wear, trying new foods (not the spicy kind!) and holding Paul's hand more often; began learning Hindi in conjunction with Japanese {summer} - 2117 {turns 15 years} - Begins Animagi training with Paul by reading, researching and writing essays with Paul; gets into Third Floor shenanigans with a sleeping Paul plus Nes, Rory, Oreo, Dad E and two ghosts; gets word that he is going to be a big brother once again and celebrates by throwing his arms up in the air and running around in excited circles; masters both Japanese & Hindi {during the school year}; vacations on a cruise to the Caribbean with his family; spends a lot of time talking to his unborn sibling via his mother's tummy; Nes and Lady Fab's litter is born: Koolaid, Fruitopia, Molly Kneazly, Froot Loops, Captain Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Catpuccino, Chairman Meow {summer}; commences studying Spanish and Mermish {shortly after the new school year starts}; lost House Points and given detention after inadvertently not following instructions during the Ancient Runes & Potions lesson;
- 2118 {turns 16 years} - finds joy in helping with taking care of Zarri, would often jog home with his siblings to do exactly this {during the school year}; is met with the terrible news that Paul's mothers had passed away in an accident; spent a lot of his summer comforting Paul by simply being there for him in quiet moments, taking him out to do fun things, and encouraging him to spend time with Zarri and Nesquik {summer};
