Dafydd chuckled softly, nodding in understanding as Quinn shared her thoughts. "I think it's fantastic that you got to experience all those different cultures and magical traditions," he said, his voice carrying a gentle sincerity. "It must've been wild to witness those ancient Greek rituals—the kind of magic you only read about in textbooks or hear in myths. I imagine it really opened your eyes to how vast and varied the wizarding world is
"Thanks, Quinn," he said, his voice full of genuine appreciation for her words as a small smile spread across his face. "The pressure does get to me sometimes, but it's a good kind of pressure, you know? The kind that keeps your heart racing and your mind sharp, pushing you to always improve. It's a bit of a thrill, really, even when it’s overwhelming." A soft chuckle escaped him as he continued. "But yeah, I'm really lucky to have someone like Hartley. He's the grounding presence I need when work feels like too much, and traveling with him has been such a nice way to see the world through a whole new lens."
He nodded thoughtfully, his expression softening into something more contemplative as Quinn shared her hopes for the future. "It's like you're always chasing something, but never quite catching it, yeah? It's really brave, though, to figure that out and know what you want now. I can't blame you for wanting something that's really yours—an apartment, pets, relationships. You'll find a way to make it all happen, I'm sure of it." He smiled fondly. "And as for the Ministry or teaching... well, they both suit you in their own way. But hey, if you decide on the Alley, I can refer you to Nesting Occamy Rentals. Hart and I went through them for our flat—it's cozy, has a great view, and the rent is pretty reasonable."
When Quinn apologized, Dafydd shook his head with a quiet laugh. "No need to apologize at all! I enjoy hearing your thoughts, really. You've been all over the place, and, understandably, you have much to share. I'm happy to listen anytime." He smiled warmly, hoping his reassurance made her feel more at ease.
