Patients was difficult but as Hadleigh watched her students remain calm and quiet, she knew this had been the right decision. They were all doing a phenomenal job in being respectful of Jonah Scamanader, herself, one another and most importantly the Qilin. The level of care each student was showing this afternoon made her a very proud Professor. They would all be getting a very simple homework assignment today, one even she didn't think they would be too upset about.
The bit of fruit that Hoaran had eaten had him making quiet noises of absolutely delight. These were his favorite, did they know? The young human reaching out to pet his head earned himself a gentle nudge to his hand in return. Hello, human. Pets were nice.
Meixui on the other hand was a bit more cautious than her offspring. Dark eyes narrowing in on the students. They were holding luǒ hán guǒ, her favorite as well. Oh, how she wanted some of that delicious fruit! She must keep an eye on her baby though, make sure he's safe. Did these young humans have only the purest intentions for her and her baby? Very slowly she moved closer to them, sniffing the air but her eyes moving from one student to the next.
Paton couldn't be happier than the mother and son Qilin were interested in the students. She watched as her class offered them fruits and how Hoaran looked to be enjoying the attention he was getting. Unfortunately they were running out of time and their visit to Scamanders Zoo was coming to an end this afternoon.
"Attention, I would like to say that I am very proud with you all today. Everyone respected all the rules and look how that turned out, you all made some new friends today. Unfortunately it's time for us to go.. so please bid your farewells to the Qilin and Mister Scamander for having us here and then gather around." They each had a few short minutes to do so. With the students now gathered, Paton led the way away from the enclosure to where they could safely portkey back to Hogwarts.
"For such wonderful behavior during our field today's homework assignment is to draw, sketch, paint a picture of what you experienced today." A simple picture of the Qilin of whatever the students liked most. "Now all hands on our portkey, please and away we'll go. Class is dismissed once we get back safely and you've all got your bearings back." Best to get that out there so no one was confused and knew they could leave once they returned. From her robe pocket she took out their return portkey, a tiny broom that grow to the size of a regular one once in her hand. "Here we go!" Back to Hogwarts ground they went.
OOC: Thank you all for coming! This is the end of our lesson. I'll leave this open for a few hours so you can all finish interacting with the Qilin and return to Hogwarts xD
