It really wasn't my choice at all. I wish I could've finished out Hogwarts with you—with everyone. It was my parents. They just...didn't accept me. They found my diary and read about me using different pronouns and about my friends and they thought that taking me out of Hogwarts would make all of that just...stop. So they sent me to Durmstrang. I'm so sorry that I never said goodbye." Quinn was staring into their hot chocolate as they said this, feeling guilty even though they reasonably knew it wasn't their fault. It still must've been so confusing, and Quinn felt bad that that was partially because of them.
