~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Bryony’s words had jogged Dhruv’s memory regarding Hady. Yes, he recalled that she loved decorating, something which she had been positioned to play a key role in since she had been prefect then Head Girl. And knowing how busy she was with all her responsibilities currently at Hogwarts, they appreciated her even more for showing up. “Hi, Hady.” Dhruv gave her a wide smile. “Glad you could join us. Yes, please. What Norman said.” With Ean and Hady there, the students should have adequate assistance.
As the students got started on their practise, the DADA professor moved around the Hall to observe. Where necessary, they assisted with pronunciations. Of course compliments were also handed out. “Excellent, Ms. Snakebark. Ah." Cue a mild interruption due to a sneeze. "Do you need a tissue?” Sneezes sometimes did make one’s nose run, after all. “Nice pronunciations, Ms. Paton, Ms. Masters.” As Norman had already corrected Jan, Dhruv focused on Ary, giving him a gentle reminder. “The incantation for the second spell is really ‘Cry-stal-lus dec-us’. Give it another try, please.” Because Dhruv had clearly heard ‘Cry-stuh-lus dec-us’.
Students being distracted by House Elves was not a new occurrence. “Ms. Montmorency, while your concern is admirable, kindly pay attention to your practise.” Schmoop wouldn’t be out here otherwise, would he? Emma would need to catch up on her spell work seeing as Norman had just given instructions to let the decorating commence. |
