Don’t ask where Aurora had come from or how she had managed to quietly slip her way into the lesson unnoticed before it had started but she was here and on time just and was attempting to listen from the back whilst having to stretch up high to see over the top of some of the taller students. Somehow, between answering questions (her answer would’ve been that she had a talent at losing most things and she was oblivious to people watching her) and starting the activity, the blonde had managed to wiggle her way towards her best friend. “Hello” she whispered to the Hufflepuff and then sent a subtle wave over to her fellow Ravenclaw Ezra before turning back to the lesson to actually concentrate.

Practice wasn’t her favourite part of lesson but it was definitely the most required. She wasn’t sure whether it was the pronunciation or the wand movement but getting spells on her first try wasn’t her forte. “Oh-bee-ek-tum reh-VEH-lee-oh” she repeated several times over, drawing a triangle in the air with her finger. At least it was an easy to remember shape too. “Obiectum Revelio!” she enunciated, drawing the triangle with her wand and for once in her life being successful on the first try as the white light followed her wand and remained in the air for a few seconds before softly fading. “Oh! OH! I did it” the blonde beamed, only realising after her exclamation that it was likely a her problem that she never got it first attempt and that the younger students were still a lot better than she was.

Treasure hunts seemed to be a recurring theme in lessons at Hogwarts, especially ones that resulted in some sort of prize that the students got to keep afterwards. She wasn’t complaining though, bribery did seem to have an affect on performance. Once the Professor had finished explaining, the sixth year slipped out of her seat and skipped over to grab a pouch for herself and for Anna which she carried back over to their desk. “We work on this together, yes? Because two brains are better than one.” Especially when it came to this particular duo.
