Catching the professor's eyes, he gave him the usual wiggle-wave greeting though this time there was a slightly mischievous grin in place because Ary could not revert his expression into a serious one. But, oh look! Treasure, maybe? Hmm... what a way to keep the students intrigued, professor. Those were his new thoughts as he went off to find a seat.
Feirgrund smiled and returned the wave, and yes, he did catch that not-so-subtle change in their expression. But after all their previous discussions, was he surprised? Nope. It was nice to see Master Atreyu-Rehman arrive early.

She smiled at the professor gave a slight wave, and took a seat getting out her parchment and quills. Eager as also to begin.
The Professor returned the smile and wave. Although quiet, he could sense she was mentally preparing and ready to learn.

He took a moment to appreciate the fresh air and the view of the garden and duck pond. The charm of the outdoors made him feel alive, and he liked that Feirgrund had chosen this setting; anything was better than the stuffy classroom walls.

When Beauden took in the sight of the professor standing near the hut, flanked by a blackboard and a table, his curiosity flared. What caught his eye was the closed box resting on the table. "What's in there, sir?" he asked, even though he didn't expect to receive a direct answer. He knew the adults liked building some suspense before revealing a lesson's true focus. Still, Beauden wanted to let the man know that whatever was hidden in the box had his attention.

Resisting the urge to give the box a few taps to see if anything would happen, he found himself a spot to sit. Maybe today's the day we charm the ducks, he thought half-jokingly with a small grin as he stretched his legs out. The breeze ruffled his hair, and he tilted his head back slightly, enjoying the sensation.
"Good day, Master Wild," Feirgrund greeted. What was in the box? "A free item for each of you. Don't worry, you won't have to wait long to get them." Boxes usually held mysterious items, but he didn't mind giving a hint on them.

Ignoring the professor and the weird box that was sitting on the table, Sloane pulled out some parchment and a quill and sat ready for yet another lecture.
Some students weren't all that social, and it was okay. Feirgrund thought that kids and teenagers shouldn't feel pressured to interact when uncomfortable unless necessary.

So it was that the Hufflepuffle arrived, slightly winded, and offered the professor a bright smile and wave AND was also reminded that she owed him another check in AND update with the latest from the Department of Mysteries. She wasn't so sure that her journal would be enough to keep track of all her to-do's anymore. Weaving around the other students, she smiled a bit more when she spotted a certain Gryffindor who had henceforth been known as Lake Prince Splish-Splash with the Radiant Halo. "I proooooooomise I don't have any stones with me today," she laughed as she plopped herself beside him and hugged her bag to her chest.
Given how winded they arrived, Feirgrund returned the smile and wave.

Upon arrival, her grayish-blue eyes immediately landed on the box, and her thoughts turned to the Box-Blasting Spell from last term. Was this going to be a revision on that spell? Merlin, she hoped not! As much as she liked the Box-Blasting Spell, she'd done it a hundred times. She wanted to try something new!

”Hello, Professor Feirgrund,” she greeted, nodding politely in acknowledgement. She took a seat near the middle, close enough to get a good look at the box but far enough away that she wouldn't seem overeager. As she waited for the lesson to begin, her eyes kept flicking toward that box. What was inside?
"Hello, Miss Masters." Feirgrund greeted. He could sense the anticipation the students had on the box.

He had to sprint through the corridors and down the halls to make sure he arrived on time. Luckily, the fifth year was a good runner, and by the time he burst out the doors and in into the grounds, he had made up for any lost time.

He straightened his clothes and took a second or two to catch his breath before sauntering his way over to the makeshift classroom. Cool as a cucumber. Yep. “Hi Professor.” He greeted Feirgrund, jovial as ever despite the impromptu exercise.

He absently made his way to a seat, not noticing the box until he sat. Interesting. And why were they outside today? The Hogwarts staff really liked to keep you guessing huh?
"Hello Master Greenwood," Feirgrund greeted. It was nice seeing students arrive promptly. So why make them wait any longer?

Eventually, it came time for the lesson to begin. Feirgrund waited as the last set of students arrived before he faced everyone seated.

"Good day, everyone," He addressed the class once the chatter died away. "Now, I know there's a blackboard here, but the lecture and note-taking will be short. This will be ran similar to our Box-Blasting Charm lesson but instead of opening sealed cases we'll be focusing our surroundings. As for this box? You'll be carrying the contents with you on the activity." Whether that relieved or disappointed some students to hear, lessons were lessons. "But first, one at time, share a time that you felt like you were being watched or perhaps needed to find something you lost? How did you handle that?" There were no wrong answers or reactions here.. within reason.

OOC: Welcome, everyone! You can react/answer to either questions depending on your character's background. Class has started now so any new posters can post acting as if they were here all along without IC consequences for late arrival. The next post will be around 24 hours from now.
