~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Ary followed the direction of Jan’s pointing and easily found those red robes. “Why am I not surprised? He probably thinks he needs to at least try to keep Paul from being rude to any first years.” He shook his head, thinking that Idris had a lot of patience to deal with Paul’s personality. Turning his attention back to his friend, Aryan grinned. “Might be a combo of both. I’m pretty sure he wants you to come back soon. Speaking of which, dads say you’re welcome to stay over again anytime you like.” As an afterthought, he added, “Of course I want you to stay over again.” Just in case Jan didn’t know that. “Why do I have a feeling that your mum is organising something huge? Dad Adi would love that. He’s such a social butterfly.” Quite unlike Ary but hey, to each their own!
The guy felt that chill too, actually shivering slightly as he looked around for the source of the coldness. “That’s… interesting.” He wasn’t judging the Headmaster’s choice in hiring, just digesting the fact Jan had pointed out. “Seems like we also have a new Herbology professor.” But at least professors Hady, Feirgrund and Khanna were still there so this Slytherin was happy! “Nope, I haven’t,’’ Ary responded to Bry. “Actually wanted to make one for a while now but you know how busy it was over the summer.” Not that there were any complaints since there was a lot of time spent with people he really liked. He was sort of mind blown that Bry was the last Paton sibling at Hogwarts now. He still had his twin sisters but that would soon-ish change. “I’d like to say hi to Uncle Frankie if you’ll let me.” It would be fine if he didn’t get the opportunity because he knew Bry was already missing her dad terribly despite him being right in Hogsmeade. Aryan sniggered at the thought of Bry calling Logan late. “If I’m still awake, I’ll say hi to him too.” He couldn’t imagine Logan being thrilled with being disturbed so later but Ary was not going to talk Bry out of it. As for him introducing Jan to Moon Child the Hippogriff, yes. He absolutely had done that. “She sort of looks familiar…” he mused to Sydney. “Have we seen her here before?” Or had he seen her picture in a book? Excuse him for a moment because Ary was suddenly distracted by JT diving under the Snake table. He himself would have poked his head under the table but since Bry was checking on JT and because Ary didn’t want to overwhelm him, he simply waited on Bry to finish her chat with the second year to inquire about his well being. |
