The near fifteen year-old Jan walked in with the other students that rode via carriage to the castle. He hugged his little (for not much longer) brother Idris and waved him off and he went to join... Hufflepuff? Oh, cause of Paul. Shrugging, Jan then went to find Drake and Ary who were likely already in the Great Hall by now.
Once inside the Great Hall, he walked on over to the table of snakes and joined right next to Ary. "Hey Ary, how are you?" He watched as he began taking out something from his pocket. "Thanks again for having me over this summer. We had a lot of fun, didn't we? Especially after my U-17 games were finished." Joining the team added more to his plate, but in a good way and he felt so happy having his friend support him through it. His eyes looked at the staff table, seeing his godfather already busy with reading. "Say, do you think your parents would be willing to spend the holiday with mine?" He just loved the big family gatherings and couldn't help thinking ahead.
