Wouldn't be wand fittings without wandmakers and you could just imagine the chaos of underaged magic and even grown magic if everyone was tasked with finding or making their own. Probably, unless on that path society had evolved in such a way that wandlore was as common sense as one plus one equating two. Regardless, Nyle offered an appreciative couple of nods before his fitting resumed and...well...now here he was on the floor being tickled by leaves and flowers. Well, at least for a little bit because the wandmaker had done something to make the flora stop and now he was wiggle worming his way out of them and scrambling to his feet.

"I'm fine," he assured the man with some rapid nodding of the head. "Wonderful...even...I think? As wonderful as someone can be after being tackled by a plant and then tickled by it anyway...." And really, it could have been a whole lot worse if had managed to conjure a flesh-eating plant so, really, it had been a very pleasant experience overall! "Most...people probably stay on their feet while being matched with their wand though, right?" Nyle wasn't embarrassed, it would take a lot for him to be so while trying something new when the probability of failing was typically at its highest, but perhaps feeling just a tad sheepish as was indicated by the flush to his cheeks - or maybe that was because he had been laughing so much he could barely breathe a few moments ago. "That was some impressive nonverbal magic, sir. Thank you."

His hand empty, because he had lost his grip on the handle during the whole ticklefest, Nyle quickly crouched down to pick the wand back up ... Nyle-size floral arrangement and all. To his surprise, the morning glory vines began to slowly creep back in to the tip of the wand like someone slowly retracting their fishing line. "So...does this mean that...this wand has a playful personality?" he inquired as he peeked over at the wandmaker. "And...it wants to play with me?"

Good, good. Satisfied that he wasn't about to have some kind of Devil's Snare situation on his hands, Zeke nodded straightened up too (with more than a little complaining from his knees, Merlin).

He gave a small chuckle. "Well, I'm glad you're alright, at any rate." And, uh, well. "Most people do stay upright, yes. But sometimes these wands do get a little enthusiastic." He stowed his own wand away again. "Thank you. It comes from years of practice," he added, before smiling again, and clasping his hands together. Because it was time.

"Well, I think it's perfectly clear that this wand has chosen you, and, yes, it does seem that that's the case. You'll discover more about each other over time, with every spell you cast together." But details? More details? More details.

"This wand is twelve and a half inches of solid hickory, with a snidget feather core. Hickory is excellent for those who wish to develop their leadership skills." Here, Zeke paused, but not because he disbelieved that that could possibly be the case; more because the next part was just so apt, considering what had just transpired. "This wood is very in touch with nature, and has an affinity with Herbology, plant magic, and the elements of earth and air. It's also excellent for divination and any spells that require creation, or that work with giving an object a semblance of life, or encouraging new growth." See? Apt. In that regard, Zeke was fairly confident they'd matched up well together, even just based on that little magical display alone. "Snidget feather cores are fairly rare. Donated by sanctuaries and reservations, for ethical wandmaking. These wands are very responsive and consistent in their spell-casting; perfect for a learner. It will be well suited to Charms, and defensive spells should come naturally, especially spells that cater to evasion. It also makes for an excellent duelling wand, should you feel so inclined to explore that area of magic."

Now, where was that box... aha. Zeke scooped it back up and held it out. "If you pop that back in here, I'll ring it up for you. The wand by itself will be 10 galleons. Are you interested in anything else to go with it?"

Nor was she entirely certain what an audio response meant, or how it was even possible. Given the fact others had gotten physical reactions to their waves. Maybe it was just her?

Either way, between the fact she’d verified Eilonwy hadn’t gone off on a joy ride inside the shop and the simple lack of any real reaction from the wandmaker, she had been left rather confused. Both with her questions as to if auditory results were common and what exactly it all meant for her case. The idle drumming from the wandmaker only proved her point. Even he was thinking and since he’d merely asked for her opinion, she blinked.

“I think…it doesn’t feel wrong, exactly? But does the sound mean the wand likes me, like it knows what I like?”, or at least what her goal for her future was...“Can wands see into our heads?” Okay, it wasn’t really an answer, but she was curious about what he thought. Since it was sort of his job to know if results meant a good fit or not. Plus, she did kind of like this one, evidenced by her not having immediately returned it to the box.

Zeke considered that question for a moment. "It's not so much that the wand sees into your head, more that the different components that make up the wand can sense when a person is a good fit for it." It was all pretty complex, but that about summed it up for their purposes. "The wand may channel the magic, but it's you who's producing it. That's likely why it reflects something you like."

He gave a little smile, and addressed her other question. "Sounds and noises are just as likely to be signs of a match as sparks and lights, and what have you. But the biggest indicator, in my experience, is really whether or not it feels right." Hence why he often told his customers to tell him exactly that, though he had a knack for spotting the signs. Usually.

And the fact that the wand simply didn't feel wrong still had him squarely on the fence, though he had noted that she'd not given the wand up yet. Hmmm...

Making up his mind, Zeke considered his shelves for a moment, then pulled out another wand box down and opened it up. "Here's an idea. You can try out this one, if you like, but if you feel like you don't want to give up that one, then I'd say we've already found your match." Or perhaps she'd try it and decide the first was the right one after all. However things transpired, once they found the right one, he'd give her all the details in his usual spiel, but there was no need to rush it. He'd rather be sure that she was sure.
