BACKGROUND
Text Cut: HIS STORY
Faustus Nott III, the fourth child and only son of Faustus Nott II, was born into a world of privilege and intrigue, surrounded by the opulence of the family estate. Known for its longstanding ties to pure-blood wizarding heritage, the Nott family faced an unexpected challenge when Faustus entered the world. The wizarding community buzzed with curiosity and speculation about the circumstances of his birth, creating an air of mystery around the young wizard. Despite the noble lineage, his birth sparked controversy due to the revelation of his much shorter stature, which the family claimed was achondroplasia, a condition that affected his bone growth. This unexpected turn of events set the stage for a complex relationship between father and son, as Faustus Nott II appeared to struggle coming to terms with his son's perceived differences, leading to a noticeable lack of affection.

Undeterred by the challenges imposed by his condition, Faustus embarked on his magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The magical Sorting Hat, torn between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, ultimately placed him in the latter house, recognizing his quick-witted mind and insatiable thirst for knowledge. However, his time at Hogwarts was not without difficulties. Faustus became the target of bullying, an experience that would shape his resolve to stand out and overcome adversity. Rather than succumbing to the negativity, he sought solace in the extensive Hogwarts library, delving into tomes and scrolls that expanded his knowledge of magic, honing his skills in magical arts and mastering spells that showcased his intellectual prowess.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Faustus pursued both Diplomacy & Wizarding Relations at the prestigious Wizarding University–London. His academic journey not only refined his intellectual capabilities but also instilled in him a profound sense of responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the wizarding community. His dedication to mastering the nuances of both diplomacy and law became evident as he excelled in his coursework, earning accolades from his professors and peers alike. This educational foundation became the gateway to his entrance into the International Magical Cooperation department at the Ministry of Magic, where he began his career as a Immigration Officer, later advancing to the role of Foreign Relations Officer. While working for the department, he met Margarete Vogel, who would later become his wife.

Life took an unexpected turn when his mother grew ill and, on her deathbed, unveiled a shocking truth that had long been concealed. His true parentage traced back to Tagnuk, a German goblin involved in a business deal gone awry with the man be believed to be his father. The goblin's deceitful actions during a social gathering, where he slipped a potion into Faustus' mother's drink and proceeded to assault her, would forever alter the reputation of the Nott family. The divulgence that Faustus Nott II was not his biological father explained the emotional distance he had experienced throughout his life, though Faustus was left wrestling with the implications of his mixed blood.

This revelation became a catalyst for Faustus' commitment to justice. Fueled by a sense of responsibility and a desire to prevent such injustices from occurring again, he redirected his career path towards the pursuit of truth. Faustus returned to university, where he studied Wizarding Law, and became a Prosecutor in the Magical Law Enforcement department, leveraging his intellect and legal acumen to ensure a fair and just magical society—though a bias against goblins is present under the surface. Over time, he ascended through the ranks, earning the esteemed title of Wizarding Director of Prosecution. His unwavering dedication to justice caught the attention of the Wizengamot, culminating in his appointment as Wizengamot Commissioner.
