Id was by no means old enough to be in Diagon Alley by himself, though he was quite sure his mother would find an excuse to not let him on his own even when he became of age. The thought horrified him because, yep; his mum was extremely protective. So, with the rest of his family nearby, the soon-to-be second year roamed the aisles of the apothecary with just as much interest and curiosity he had the summer before. Now that his first year had been completed, Idris had developed an appreciation for potion ingredients having dealt first hand with them.
Though… a few of those ingredients still repulsed him. Like the Puffer fish eyes.
Id shuddered as he came across them, promptly positioned his face in the opposite direction and hurried away. Listen, there was something creepy about the way the eyes seemed to look at and follow him. It was unnerving! But any crisis was averted as he put a safe distance between him and the eyes. Now the list of dwindling ingredients that he had made after taking inventory of his potion kit could be consulted.
