Snap! Out of his trance, there she was. Solly smiled, clearly very pleased to see Sage, though his expression neutralised as she seemed to want to get straight to the point about something.

Whatever he thought she was going to say, that wasn’t it. It’s a good job the feast hadn’t started yet otherwise he’s surely choke on something. Though the term that has just passed had definitely involved some changes within their friendship, he had been putting any ideas of… THIS… off in fears of rejection. Solomon immediately looked down at his lap, quickly back at her face, then her pocket, before dancing between the three spots as he thought of something sharp to say in return. “Ummmm…” the trouble with Sage was that Solomon never knew if she was just kidding around with him, but this time he decided that he would go with it, because truthfully, he was interested. “I guess.” HE GUSSEED?
“I mean… yes, of course I was going to do that.” He stated with a bit of attitude. “So, I take that as a yes?” He asked with a dorky grin. He would’ve gone into detail about how he was a thoughtless individual who didn’t act upon things like normal people do, but that would surely get some fun poked at him.
Ahhh, excellent, food was here. Why didn’t he feel as hungry now?!
