| ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. SPOILER!!: Bry! <3 Quote:

So please no eating buggies Ary unless it was candy. As fast as she had been beaming at him, her mouth went to hanging open in utter fake shock that he wasn't agreeing with her and instead not going to answer. Rude Aryan, very rude. Didn't he know he was meant to agree with her?
Deep sigh. "I'll ask her later. I like it in here." Really she did. Maybe mama would keep the building around for a bit longer so she could use it as a study place! "Or wait.. maybe you should ask her too! Cause if we both ask she can't say no." Strength in numbers, right?
Such a cute little blankie nest they had made! Bry giggled. "You're not going to roast, it's not that hot in here.' He was so very silly! Bry tilted her head one way and then the other, eying their nest. "I think it's great. We can always add more blankets if we think we need to." She very carefully removed her dragon egg from the sling across her chest and placed it in the blanket nest. "How's that?"
Someone just needed to remind him to protect himself by using earmuffs if Bry was going to be screaming in the range that mirrored mandrakes. But moving on… he doubted that he’d be eating many insects in the form of sweets either; unless they were on the sour side, of course. Peeking over at Bry, he could see that he had ‘surprised’ her with his response. He simply grinned.
You know what? Ary should have anticipated that Bry would have dragged him in somehow on this. “We can try,’’ he said uncertainly. “But, Bry, if Aunty Hady really doesn’t have any use for it, she won’t listen to us.” He pictured Hady letting them down gently, especially Bry. He also pictured Bry bursting into disappointed tears.
Bry could speak for herself. He was positive that beads of sweat were appearing above his upper lip, giving him a ‘sweat moustache’. How absolutely manly. At least he and Bry were on the same page regarding the blankie situation. He carefully removed the egg he had chosen and placed it snugly next to Bry’s. “Cozy. They look like twins,’’ he observed, now standing back to survey his and Bry’s work. “Think they’re warm enough? Should we use an extra Heating Charm just in case?” Ary squinted around at the room as though it were about to provide him with answers. When it didn’t, he said, “Nah. I think it’s warm enough.” |
