Following Ary through the doors, it was the young snakettes turn to stare at everything in awe as she looked around. "How long do you think it took mama to do all of this? Should we explore while our babies nap?" Yes, she referred to them as 'babies' and not eggs. They did have baby dragons inside them after all. Speaking of which, hers was currently wrapped up all snug and warm in a colorful blanket and tucked safely into the sling that was hung across her chest. The best way to bond was to keep it close, right?
"Uh-huh, that should help them to hatch. Maybe they'll hatch together!" Now how exciting would that be?! Bry wrapped her little pinky around Ary's free one (cause obviously he was carrying the basket with his 'baby' in it), swinging their hands gently. "Do we want to just lay them somewhere or actually build a little safe spot for them so they don't get hurt?" Keeping their 'babies' safe was very important.
Haaa.
Bry had jokes, didn’t she? Aryan laughed at the question and as she tapped his chin. “Maybe. Professor Adara will appreciate a few for her potion ingredients stash.” Then he laughed again. “Shh, Bry! Even if it’s true, we can’t let anyone hear that. They might be sad. Or worse, jealous.”
Ary thought. “I think it would have taken her a while to plan and to get all the materials needed to put it together. But using magic, it would have taken a shorter amount of time to put this together.” He really did love and appreciate what Aunty Hady had done! “We can do that.” He really did want to know all that was here and how he could make his dragon even more comfortable when it hatched.
As his and Bry’s joined hands swung, Ary considered the question. “Maybe if we put them together, they’ll hatch together since they’ll have the same level of warmth.” He tugged Bry in the direction of the warmer areas, which were easy to find since the heat was felt as they moved closer. “How about we make them a little nest from the blankets that we have? But I don't think there's any danger involved. Aunty Hady would have seen to that somehow.” |
