Merlin’s beard, where had the time gone?! Norman wondered as he entered the Great Hall. It seemed like the term had just started, and now the summer holiday was almost here. Honestly he thought the term went faster with each passing year!
“Good evening, all,” he greeted his colleagues, nodding politely to each person in turn. He took his seat at the far end of the dais just in time to catch Wilber’s riddle. He inwardly chuckled. What would a Hogwarts feast be without the headmaster’s traditional dad joke?
He took a quick cursory glance around the room, paying particular attention to the Ravenclaw table. Seeing no signs of trouble so far, he turned his full attention to the riddle. “I believe Ean is correct,” he said after giving it some thought.
