Here they where! Another year of Hogwarts winding down and its legacy to be known by future generations. As far as she was concerned it had been a very good year and one that had left her feeling a certain kind of hopeful she hadn't experience in a long time...if ever. She almost felt like she was counting down the seconds to disembarking from the Hogwarts Express, but she did not wish for her giddiness about things to come to be at the expense of this evening. After all, this was the last night to celebrate a chapter in people's lives!
This mean, she had some rounds to make about the house tables to deposit hugs accompanied by written praises and exchange promises to keep in touch so she could cheer on their adventures while she continued writing her part in Hogwart's legacy for another term more. To the Gryffindor table where she HAD to gush at Vera and Logan (and possibly ask about being included in any future wedding guest list should they be able to afford the seating space), a squish to Kion, and a slightly reserved squish for Freddy so she wouldn't get carried away again. To the Ravenclaw table to present Phoenix with a squish AND her latest attempt at one of the cookie recipes he had shared with her and THIS time she had hardly burnt any of them! A quick bounce over to the Slytherin table to thank Jocelyn for all her kindness and helping her with some real tricky pronunciations during her first term especially. Then there was, of course, those seated at her own house table. People like her cousin who she was just so excited for and quite keen to see where his next path in life took him! It had been friendship at first kicked ankle with Ramsay and Anna wanted to make sure to get his autograph properly before he went off into certain stardom (she was doing her groupie job super well, right?!). And of course sweet Maria who Anna truly wished all the best for.
Gosh, there really was SO much to celebrate this evening! Hufflepuffle had even earned second place with the House Cup this term and that was pretty fun - though she did often forget about the whole house point race among all the other riveting things to experience in the day-to-day life here in the castle.
Curls bouncing about her freckled features, Anna plopped herself down and hummed a to herself with a bright smile in place.
