This was one End of Term feast that Celeste was approaching with mixed feelings. Perhaps it was one of the reasons she was moving a little slower than she had planned to the evening’s gathering, coupled with no longer being a spring chicken. Or spring owl in her case. She would be leaving for the summer and not returning in September. Past that was all up in the air and depending entirely on what life wanted to throw out at her and her family. For now the matriarch was needed at home and while she would miss the students she had taken under her wing, the astronomy professor held her family first.
Letting out a breathe she hadn’t known she was holding as she approached the staff table, she smiled softly as she climbed up with her fellow staff already there. Dhruv of course…usually one of the first to make an appearance. Then Ean her fellow former Gryffindor. If only the lions had had better luck in the course of the year to round it up to send her off. And finally, Apollonia there on the other side of the table. “Good evening,” she greeted the trio before making her way to take a seat near the former duo.
