It was another year completed for Yulietta. She was a bit sad that it felt it flew by so quick. Hogwarts was a different kind of freedom for her and now she had to wait WEEKS until it started all over again. Going back home to Mexico had its soft spots like eating freshly made tortillas and drinking natural juices from cute plastic pouches on a hot summer day. Worry not, though, she would be back. Her uncle promised her as much.
Quietly making her way to the Great Hall, alongside her cousin Violeta, Yulie tried to drown out the Gryffindor complaining about how much she missed her boyfriend and how unfair her grades were. Honestly, Yulie thought it was Violeta's fault for earning such poor marks. She should have studied.
Anyway, she didn't make a peep–as she often did–she simply nodded empathetically. When they parted ways, each going to their respective house tables, Yulie's shoulders relaxed. Thankfully she was one of the first to arrive, and as she did, her light auburn eyes noticed a housemate with a bunch of paperclips. She sat across from him, her gaze curiously switching from the paperclips to his face.
"Hello," she greeted timidly.
