As the weather turned warmer (read; slightly less cold and wet), Reuben was spending as much time outside with his football as possible. His 'Coach Reuben' hat was an almost permanent fixture, as was the Hufflepuff-themed football jersey. The fact that both items of clothing had been gifts from different girls was neither here nor there.
Or at least, that was what he told himself.
In reality, the seventeen year old was horribly confused. Taking his chalk from his pocket, he marked out some spots on the wall and floor for target aim, trying to distract himself. It was more difficult than he'd thought it would be to throw himself into the exercise, though - his thoughts kept straying to the way Bronwen laughed, or the way Everleigh flicked her hair. The way both brunettes had a way of making him feel smart and seen and...
Reuben shook his head, as though that would clear his thoughts, before kicking the ball aggressively at one of the targets.
