~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Connor honestly thought that that was a factor in Reagan’s decision. She had never spoken of it, and he had never asked {maybe he should}. “I think she’ll make that decision when she’s ready but if it makes you feel better, we can discuss it with her.” The man laughed again. “We can do a spin the bottle - like scenario, transform the room then send them the pictures.” His eyes mirrored Addison’s mischievousness. He knew their kids well enough to know that they would not mind, whichever room is chosen. “I really have no doubt about that.” Addison was so happy and content with having two crups, how could he not agree to her request? “We should encourage our friends to adopt,’’ Con remarked as he looked around at the other crups. “Even ask the kids if they’re ready to have any pets as yet…” If they were, he and Addison could recommend these crups. “I think that one is ready to go with us as well.” Smiling, he indicated to the staff about which two would be taken. The one he had chosen had now scrambled over to Addison to meet its sibling. “Shall we go fill out the paperwork then?” he asked Addison, leaving the staff to round up the other crups. |
