Default Historical Riddles & Chocolate Frogs

Professor Fergersnout hadn’t given much away on the invitation she had posted on each of the houses noticeboards other than that the students were about to go on a quest that tested their riddle solving abilities and their knowledge of famous witches and wizards.

She had instructed the group, an open invitation to all students at Hogwarts and not just those who enjoyed collecting Wizard Cards, to meet her under an archway in the courtyard where she could presently be found in her usual eccentric attire. The purple pointed hat, a familiar favourite which perfectly matched the wrapper of the chocolate frog she was currently munching away on, sat on top her head and acted as a beacon to arriving students. Her matching robe, made of a thick wool to keep out the February afternoon chill, was wrapped around her body. She had a stack of parchment in her arms that she was clutching closely to her body so as to not spoil the activity to any nosey children who might want to get a hard start.

“Come gather here, we’ll start when there’s enough of you to get going.”

OOC: Welcome to the History of Magic group activity for the term, this time in association with the Wizard Card Collectors Club. Your character doesn’t need to be a member of the club to get involved, in fact we encourage everyone to partake in a bit of fun. This is NOT a lesson so students can join at any time, uniform is not required and points won’t be awarded for participation.
