Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space. Even though this was her third year at Hogwarts, Fiorenza still had not adjusted to sharing a dorm with, what felt like, a dozen other people. They were often loud and boisterous, and sometimes overly emotional in the way only teenage girls could be. Though she tolerated them for the most part, and, in the case of Dia and Sloane, actually respected them (to go as far as to call them friends would be remiss, though perhaps one day she could grow to consider them as such), it did not mean she enjoyed sharing the dorm.
Especially on the nights where she could not sleep. Though she was, in some ways, both a night owl and an early bird - rising before most, and yet returning to her bed later than them, too - she tried not to let her tiredness overcome her. The shadows under her eyes were treated with care, subtle concealer hiding them, and when her brain seemed to go slow it was not necessarily noticeable to others, given her (often exaggerated) slow and considered way of speaking.
Unable to fall asleep, and on the wrong side of midnight, the Slytherin for up. Had she had her own space, then perhaps she would have remained in the privacy of it, but given that the private space she was allowed was merely a bed, Fiorenza rose to the sound of the sleepy breathing and headed to the blissfully empty Common Room.
