Something told Tam that once she was able to share the initial knowledge she had obtain from her self reflections, she’d be like an open dam and probably share more thoughts and feelings than Dy might even want to hear. She supposed that was the perks of having feelings for your best friend, you just wanted to tell them everything - and once that inital hurdle was cleared, there was a sense of safety and security about your ability to do so. At least… that’s what Tam was assuming.
But she’d find out for sure once she finally took that first jump.
“I’ll find it and we can watch it together when it’s the spooky season!” She assured her when it was mentioned she hadn’t seen it before. They weren’t particularly wonderfully made movies, but they were classics and just had a feeling of heartwarm to them for during the correct season. As for figuring out the pie together? Tam’s smile grew a little and she gave a nod of her head in agreement swiftly at the suggestion. She liked adventures with her friends and it would certainly be more fun to try together. “I’m sure we could easily find a recipe book and muddle our way through it! And then if we fail, maybe the house elves can help us fix it.” The sweet dears that they were. Feeling a hint of self consciousness, Tam looked down and raised a hand to tuck some of her hair behind her ear. “Maybe… it could even be a fun date idea.” The words were said shyly, but she did look up a little to see what type of reaction Dy gave.
She took the Hufflepuff’s hand and gave it a squeeze, not entirely reassured by the words. “Are you sure though? We can always practice music somewhere near the hospital wing if it’s hurting you at all? I can help you there.” She didn’t NEED to be in any pain if she was feeling any. Tam would much rather her be comfortable.
