HeadGirlMC | Treddie & Trixiver <3 | Copy Girl | Katie's Ickle Minion | I love YOU more Look, he couldn’t wholly explain it but there was just a vibe that cat and dog people gave off that separated them from each other. Archie’s parents precisely fit that vibe. Dog people were open and sociable like Kat. “You know.. Independent, a little serious, more selective with your circle. It’s not a bad thing.” More like his Da in many ways. Angus was more of the laid back type that likely wouldn’t have connected with someone who was constantly changing direction every five seconds.
Angus was of the opinion that you didn’t have to be a good dancer to enjoy doing it, not for exercise purposes anyway. “I’ve taught worse, I’m sure” he smirked. “You must’ve danced at your wedding.” Unless he stood there like a spare part whilst his ex-wife danced around him. Or maybe they did that awkward sway thing.
Ugh. Lawyers always knew what to say to get themselves out of a situation didn’t they? “I’m fairly certain that those two couldn’t care less about that” he chuckled. The relationship that the Ackerly’s had with each other was admirable, he liked his siblings but the family weren’t close in the same way. He experienced first hand how much they argued and teased each other but at the end of the day they’d defend one another to the ends of the earth.
The fake smile emanating from Archie’s face was strangely uncomfortable. “Nah, don’t like it.” he laughed. “Much prefer the resting serious face.” It wasn’t even that Archie never smiled. “Then there’s Honey who is basically the same person just blonder.” Literally he meant but maybe figuratively too. “I never said it was scary” the former Ravenclaw argued back. “I don’t perform anymore anyway so..” So this argument was a dud. He couldn’t explain why he didn’t like it when people he was close to watched, perhaps it was the thought of being a disappointment, or it was an added pressure to not make a mistake.
