Shaking his head, he immediately straightened and gestured for her to walk, "I am surprised that cat isn't joining us right now" he said, smiling a little - something he realized he couldn't really help when she was around.
"I was wondering if you could help me with some mail again" He knew she would, but it was good to ask - also it gave them a chance to chat.
"of course, in return, I'd owe you a favour -- as always"
