~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. All that internal thoughts going on with Tamara and Dynah had not noticed. Maybe it was because Tam processed those thoughts when she was alone, and so this did not allow Dy to really observe. When they were together, it was just like any other time: simply magical. However, the Hufflepuff assumed this feeling was only felt on her side. But importantly? The older girl still possessed the biggest crush on the other. It was just a pity she hadn’t worked up the courage to disclose them to the person that mattered most. And she had sworn Aryan to secrecy so as far as she knew, her youngest brother hadn’t spilled the beans.
Dynah had seen those flyers too. Invited or not, that sort of event was not her cup of tea. There were better things to do than to go around snogging random schoolmates. Not when there was music to write, practice to be done, homework to complete and especially not when her heart belonged to Tamara Bowen.
Speaking of Tam, Dy was on her way down to the Pumpkin Patch to meet her. Violin case in hand, she hobbled along the paths across Hogwarts grounds. The ankle of her right foot had been twisted slightly while she had been doing her dance practice. Dy was used to such injuries though and so the newest injury only brought about mild-ish discomfort. In any case, her tolerance lever for pain was high. “Tam!” Dy forgot about her foot as she found the younger girl leaning against a huge pumpkin. “Ooooh, that pumpkin’s huge! It’s going to make a jack-o-lantern big enough for us to hide in.” Chuckling, she came to a halt before Tam. “Now I’m craving pumpkin pie. Reckon we can ask the elves to bake us a small one? Or we can bake it together instead.” |
