A few YEARS was still like a total of FIVE. It was so long when one really thought about it. Especially to a 12 year old who waited forever already to even get to go to a magic school. In reality, he didn't know what need he would actually have to use magic because unlike Aryan he didn't have a task to prove himself in (or a way to be helpful like he was sure Ary would be!) and yet still... he was excited about it. He listened intently at the descriptions of his siblings, nodding along after each name. "So... then the oldest was the Ravenclaw, Nadia is the Gryffindor and Dy is... Hufflepuff, right?" Also? Violin playing to the creatures sounded SO cool. "Do you think she'll let us listen too??" Well, he supposed his question was could HE since he was certain as Aryan's sister, she probably let him often.
That was very true. This was definitely a way more comfortable stay than what would probably be like when Aryan came to Drake's house next time. It was smaller, and had a cozy vibe, but there wasn't nearly enough space to really enjoy solitude for a prolonged time. In fact, it was lucky that Gilly seemed to love Drake as much as he did or his silence preferring twin might have really been driven up the wall by him.
Oohh, so Aryan's dads did all of the protective enchantments and everything too? That was so COOL. They were both clearly very knowledgeable and talented to be able to take care of all of the different aspects on their own. "Do your dads have any employees that work on the reserve too? Or is it simply a family run effort?" Not that he was already trying to pander for a job later in life, he was simply curious. "Oh! I didn't even think to ask about that! I'm sure my mum will be relieved!" Not that he liked using the muggle phone that he had for emergency purposes - but it meant he could say goodnight every night still. "What else do you like to do when you're here at home?"
