Outdoor lessons were normally Bryony's favorite. However lately she had been a bit off and very much not at all like herself. Much more quiet, very clearly lost in her own thoughts more often than not. The walk down towards the Charms lesson had been done on her own. She had also found herself a seat near her usual group but not quite beside them like she always did, especially when she had seen who was sitting right beside Ary.. but of course he was. It was fine though, everything was just fine.. there was nothing for anyone to see here. And to prove as much the usual finger wiggle wave had been given to Professor Fairgrund.
Now when the lesson began, Bry tried to pay attention. Really she did. Blue eyes even focused on Fairgrund, glad to hear that to too many notes would have to be taken today. The less notes she needed to take, the less she would need to review. Maybe if she was lucky no homework would be given today either. Then she would have even more time to think about things. Things that weren't supposed to be on her mind right now... What had the Professor asked? Something about keeping things locked away? "My mama keeps her lessons locked away, I guess so no one can see them but her before she teaches that particular lesson." Bry had no clue if this was the sort of answer Fairgrund was looking for but at least she had managed something.
