Alfie was feeling a little bit tapped out after the train ride over to Hogsmeade. He had a wonderful time catching up with Brooks (always), but there was something about doing a thing for the first time that made him the sleepiest boy on the planet. He was relieved about not having to take the boats up to the castle this year, but the carriages were intimidating and it was only a matter of luck that he managed to find one with enough open space for both himself and Brooks.
Despite this, he still offered a warm, shy sort of smile to the girls at his table. He wasn't in much of a chatty mood, but he did wave to be friendly.
But just as soon as he did, his focus went elsewhere. Over to Cyprien Grimaldi, actually.
