Summer 2113. Advika has a pleasant surprise for Suresh, take two.

This moment was inevitable, considering Advika and Suresh both had already discussed and settled on the idea of having another one together when Lakshmi was a little bit older. But it had never been set on any specific timeline by the pair or even discussed planning for baby number two now. And yet… as she stared at the small stick in her hands, two tiny little pink lines blinking back up at her, Advi knew very well what that meant and that the time for preparation was upon them.

Starting with, of course, the preparation to surprise her husband with the news.

She already knew exactly how she wanted to this time. Nothing too lavish or as large as when she'd first told him about Lakshmi. She didn't need to go big and over the top, because she knew even if she didn't do anything except say the words, Suresh would be incredibly happy. So her preparation was quick. A simple stop at a store, a quick photoshoot with her little love, and then their daughter was on her way to an overnight at Advika’s parents so she and Sur could celebrate.

Next was dinner, which she was currently still in the process of making - though apparently pregnancy brain was already upon her, considering the task at hand was attempting to salvage the burnt naan she’d somehow forgotten about.
