Older people oftentimes said that seven years at Hogwarts felt short, which was something Yukie didn't really believe because seven years was definitely a long time. It was only now that she finally understood what they meant. Studying for NEWTs took so much of her time and, once those were over, it all started to sink in. The Babiest Rasting, now a graduate. Of course, she was at least a little (a lot) emo about everything.
Yukie had made sure to arrive early at the feast so she could go around and spend some time with her friends a last time in the castle. Eventually she would hop from one house table to another, but for now, she occupied her usual seat in the Hufflepuff table and scanned the Great Hall for a familiar face—Moz, Luca, Ren, Maggie, Moe, Fyn, Arden, Hooper, Mercer, even her sister.
The cute potted lavender right in front of her smelled nice, too. It was hers now, right?
