Tapio waited a while for students to arrive and then began the seminar with some questions. "Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to another exciting venture into the world of Alchemy. And welcome to our younger students and to anyone who is new to our seminars. And to help them alone, I think it wouldn't hurt to go over some basids. So--what can any of you tell us about Alchemy? Where did it come from, what does it mean, and what kind of practice is it?"

[OOC: Class has started, but feel free to catch up on your student's entrance (or maybe you've been here all along...) Class will continue tomorrow afternoon.]
