HeadGirlMC | Treddie & Trixiver <3 | Copy Girl | Katie's Ickle Minion | I love YOU more To be honest it was probably a good thing that Daniel avoided socialisation like it was Mumblemumps as he wasn’t always the kindest person. He’d matured over the years but his patience had barely improved and standing around conversing with a stranger was about last on the list of things he wanted to achieve in the day. Luke was lucky enough (or unlucky enough depending on whose opinion it was) to at least be somewhat involved in his social circle that he would avoid any harsh words and opinions from the man.
Besides his mother still had such a strong influence on him that he couldn’t bear the disappointment on her face if he did otherwise. “Mum has me brewing these every other week this time of year” he grumbled, adding another ingredient into his bag. “Not that I begrudge her asking me but I’d much rather she ask for something at least a little more complex.” He could brew those things with his eyes closed to the point that it became tedious and repetitive. He wanted to flex his abilities, show off his skills. Still, he did them without so much as a complaint towards Trixie.
He supposed he should ask how the Amsterns were doing considering how close the two families were. “How is your mother? And the rest of the family?” He asked, pretending that he was totally uninterested by scanning the shelves for another product but truthfully caring as Vashti really was like an Aunt to the Broadmoor children. He should probably introduce the woman to his daughter once she had returned from Hogwarts.
