Brandon shook his head unconvincingly at professor Khanna's question, not wanting to admit that anything was wrong. Not in front of the class, at least... maybe later. Still, he was immensely relieved when Vera switched his foe glass with her probity probe, and he shot her a grateful smile. It made it a lot easier for him to focus.
"If I got a bad gut feeling about someone I just met, I would use a sneakoscope to detect if they were doing something untrustworthy or lying to me. I can't think of a situation other than an interpersonal one where I would need a sneakoscope... I think the other dark detectors would be generally more useful."
Except for the foe glass, of course. It wasn't useful if he couldn't look at it without freaking out. |
