Job description: The successful applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of magical laws and standards regarding the Statute of Secrecy and Muggle relations, as well as pass stringent suitability tests and have no criminal record. The minimum requirement is 5 NEWTs at E level or higher in Charms, Defence against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions, and Transfiguration. Proficiency in Stealth and Tracking, Advanced Magical Combat, and Concealment and Disguise as well as a minimum of five other specialist subjects studied during the Auror recruitment programme are required. Pay grade is adjusted based on experience, extra training, and skill. Junior Aurors participate in operations within the Auror Office, cooperate with other department divisions where required, liaise with other departments as required, meet objectives set by the Magical Law Enforcement Department Head, execute investigations and undercover operations where necessary, and may be required to perform specialist bodyguard duty. A promotion to Auror may be offered after completing approximately 3+ years of being a successful Junior Auror as deemed by the Head Auror and Magical Law Enforcement Department Head.
