Alissa smiled at the house elf when they showed her the brush. "That is a very nice brush," she agreed. "And everything around here looks so shiny and clean so it must work very well." She smiled over at the younger Ravenclaw. She looked like she'd wanted to touch the brush, and Alissa wouldn't want to stand in the way of that. "Do you always clean around Ravenclaw, Schmoop? Thank you for doing that, all of the students appreciate it very much." She didn't think that the house elves got thanked as much as they deserved, so she wanted to make sure she said it. She didn't like cleaning, and it was so nice to have someone else take care of it. So she definitely appreciated them. |
