Feirgrund went around the room as students were practicing the wand movement and pronunciation. It wasn't a lengthy task, what was though was the Professor choosing to tap each box individually. Removing the charm that kept it rooted in place, though it was still sealed. Each student he observed before offering a "Very good,". Moving on to only pause momentarily with some. Quote:

Frowning a little, Hooper raised his hand, slightly confused as to why they were being asked to list heavy objects but quickly lowered it. The answer he was going to give the professor was no doubt going to get him in trouble so instead, he simply listened to the other answers, trying to not let his attention drift too much.
It took him a moment or two to focus on the blackboard, but he managed to wrestle his mind away from the fun day dream he’d been having about swimming in the lake when the weather improved which was a while away, he knew.. “Right you are, Professor,” his voice low and bored as he pulled out his wand and waved it lazily around to practise the levitating spell first. He most likely should have practised the feather-light charm first but truthfully, he just wasn’t feeling it today. Why he’d decided to practise a spell he knew he could do was for others to figure out, although he didn’t practise it for long. Watching his quill levitate above his desk was more than enough practice. “Plumavis” he mumbled, his eyes now on some of the other students around him. The first years seemed to be trying their best, bless them. Some of the older kids seemed to have the same idea as his too, practising the levitating spell. Nothing of interest there really though. Not until one of the seventh years decided to lecture another of the younger students. Hooper was far too disinterested for this, choosing to ignore any of the other students and their struggles. Instead, he continued to mumble the spell a few more times before turning his attention to the wand movement. Once was enough, right? “hEY, Professor, can we use the spell now? He wasn’t sure he could actually work the spell, but sitting around and practising the incantation and wand movement had never been one of his strengths. He’d always preferred to try and fail, over and over until he got it to work. "A please would suffice, Master Ridley-Rush," Feirgrund said. Maybe it was the father in him, but the whole manners when asking thing was something he ingrained in his own kids. Though the Professor did witness him practice... a little. Most of the seventh year's time was spent observing others which could be taken as the younger Gryffindor seeing how others do it before attempting. "You're starting well, take some more time to practice the wand movement," NEWT students needed to master wandless more importantly. Quote:

He could clearly see the confusion of Bry’s face; it was highlighted by her blinks and strong stare. He felt himself retreating inwardly already because he felt idiotic and ashamed. “Sorry,’’ he mumbled. It was quite fine if she didn’t want to work with him. And it was definitely quite fine that she didn’t know about his feelings that were split evenly between her and Drake. The realisation just cemented his resolve to never let Bry know about that. He wouldn’t be able to stand her hurt and fury. “It’s okay if you… just wanna practice by yourself.” Ary suspected if they hadn’t been in class, Bry would have had a tantrum. And even though he told her she could work by herself if she wanted to, he was quite tempted to correct her pronunciation of the word. He kept his mouth firmly shut though, determined not to aggravate her further.
Silently, he practiced the wand movement as Feirgrund had depicted on the board. It was traced out repeatedly until he got it right. It didn’t take him long to get it right so he just sat back in his seat, watching those around him. True, Ary could have worked on the Levitation Charm but his mood was still off somewhat. Besides, he had pretty much aced that Charm last term. Quote:

Whether it be intentional or not (let it also be known that she never intentionally did anything to upset that boy! Not unless she was simply messing about obviously). If there was anything she liked more than being upset herself, it was him being upset. ”It’s okay.. You were littles then.. But you’re not little no more. Maybe I won’t be so heavy now…” She could hope, right? But.. what if she was?!
Huh?! What was he even talking about? Bry hadn’t said that. She wanted to practice with him. She did! They were partners in everything. At least in her head, they were. ”Why would I wants to do that?” There was the smallest tilt of her head as she looked at him again, her eyes showing even more confusion. What had she said that had given him the idea that she didn’t want to work together? Did he not want to work with her now because of how she reacted?! It hadn’t been her fault that she had been taken by surprise by his response.
With each repeat of the incantation, the more Bryony seemed to be butchering it. And she knew it now as she focused on Ary and heard that what he was saying was not even close to what she was. How come he was correcting her like he normally would? Did she really upset him that much without meaning to? ”Ary, will you help me? I didn’t mean to make you sad.. “ Bry lowered her wand and opened her arms in typical Bryony fashion because there had to be a hug or something first, right? Hugs and then the perfect duo could rock these charms together! As he approached the younger students, they seemed to be in a serious discussion from the time spent in between their practicing, "Everything alright, Miss Paton? Master Atreyu-Rehman?" As they seemed to be socializing. "Other than a little less chatter, keep up the good work," While he wasn't asking them to be silent, as long as they were being productive. Just to maintain balance with learning and fun. After sufficient time had passed, the Professor went back to his desk area. "Alright everyone, you're doing well. Now it's time to finally use the charm." No more suspense as Feirgrund continued. "You should now be able to open the box. Inside the box is prize for each of you. The prize is, in fact, filled with many colorful stones weighing it down. If you were to try the levitation spell, you'll immediately notice how difficult it is to have it float. So with the Feather-light charm you will make the tilde / wave movement over the object, and say very clearly, Plumavis."
Demonstrating himself with the box next to his desk, "Then to see if it works, Wingardium Leviosa, and it should rise incredibly fast into the air like a feather and descend slowly onto your desk." As Feirgrund demonstrated next with the swish and flick it went up halfway towards the ceiling before he allowed it to descend slowly. Now for the impeding question, "You might wonder, if the object is going to be so light why not just pick it up and see? It's more of a safety risk to prevent hurting yourself trying to lift something so heavy on your own. Since, on the first try the object may be lighter but still on the heavy side." And well, this was magic. "So it's another indicator on how successful your attempt on the charm is." Which hopefully took care of at least one question on the student's minds. "NEWT students, in sixth and seventh years, after being successful using it verbally, your main objective is to also work on it non-verbally." Now then, "At the ready, you're free give it a go." OOC: Thanks for your patience! Now you'll be using the Feather-light charm and then Wingardium Leviosa on the objects inside the box. The choice of what object your character has is up to you. You have at least 60 hours from now. If you have any questions feel to ask.
