~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Things were as they were meant to be; it was all Suresh could have asked for life to be right now. He was content, he was happy. He also knew that Adviks felt the same and if she wasn’t ever happy now or in the future, he was always approachable for a talk on the topic. He was rather open to discussion on all topics with the wifey. He was, of course, always open to playfulness when it came to their daughter. “Right! No human or sheep left behind!” Sur could not agree more about fostering Lakshmi’s imagination. From what he saw, the little girl had a great deal of it.
If he was laughing before about being bathed in sprinkles, it was nothing compared to what he was doing now. Because Advika’s little yelp had been hilarious to him so now he was doubly cracked up. Tears of mirth sprang into his eyes as he worked to swipe away the sprinkles she too had gotten on him. “Is that where our Christmas bonuses went? Towards a horde of sprinkles?” Suresh was joking of course, but now that his laughter had calmed a little, he was back at cracking jokes.
The man had every intention of following in Lakshmi’s footsteps of wanting to eat everything but naturally he was sidetracked by the cute mess she was making - and becoming. He grabbed his phone. “Look, Advi! Doesn’t she look extra adorable?” Don’t mind him, snapping away like crazy as Lakshmi licked sprinkles. “Better out the rest of the sprink-” SPLAT!!!
Well aimed frosting landed smack on his cheek leaving Suresh mildly surprised. “Oh nooo. The little cookie monster got me!” |
